Rocket
This re-landable rocket started off as collaborative efforts between myself and the team at the Fullerton College Engineering Club but soon got phased out. I then picked it up as a personal project. Drawing inspiration from SpaceX, my goal was to push the boundaries of innovation by utilizing 3D printing technology in rocket construction, highlighting its unique potential in component design.
The rocket boasts an Arduino-controlled Thrust Vector Control system, incorporating IMUs and closed-loop PID loops to precisely control the rocket's angle during liftoff. Having successfully achieved the ascent phase, my current focus is on developing a safe method for the rocket's return to Earth using propellants.
This remains an ongoing project, and I firmly believe that with continued dedication, any challenge is surmountable.
